Dr. Shannon Williams
Growing up in the Portland Metro area, the strong bonds she formed with her family pets, combined with her love for exploring the Oregon outdoors, fueled her passion for the human-animal bond, biology and medicine.
After her 2005 graduation from Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Shannon remained in Corvallis, launching her career in animal medicine at a mixed animal practice. Though she enjoyed working with all animals, the experience brought clarity to her passion for working with dogs and cats in particular.
In 2008, she returned to the Portland area to continue, and evolve, her career closer to family. During these years of practice she received training in Veterinary Acupuncture and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. Through the course of her career, she has developed special interests in preventative care, pain management, rehabilitation/physiotherapy, geriatric and hospice care. Victoria was born and raised in Stockton, California, where she discovered her love for animal medicine through working as a veterinary assistant and receptionist for her local humane society in 2008; she has not left the field ever since and does not plan to!
After spending almost a decade in emergency veterinary medicine, Victoria is excited to settle back into general practice (and a normal sleep schedule) and strives to provide clients with the comfort and confidence in knowing that their family is in good hands.
Victoria settled down in Portland with her loving partner, her daughter, and their own personal zoo consisting of two Beagles named Parsley and Reuben, an English Bulldog named Goomba, and a Domestic Long Haired cat named Hatshepsut. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, video games, painting, collecting cool rocks, cooking, and wrestling foreign objects out of Parsley’s mouth.

Amber
Client Care Representative
Originally from Connecticut, Amber grew up with cats, dogs, birds, and lizards. Always outside playing with bugs and catching snakes, she knew that animals would be in her future somewhere. After trying some different career paths, she ended up at a small animal practice in Florida in 2010, and hasn’t left the field since. Her and her partner moved to Portland in 2011, and couldn’t imagine calling anywhere else home. In her spare time, Amber enjoys hiking the PNW with her partner, and their Great Pyrenees mix Ketchup, going out to eat sushi, and chilling at home on the couch with Lemon and Squash, the cats!
